About Us

WELCOME TO JERRY’S MAJESTIC MARINE

For those of you who don’t already know us, our names are Jerry and Diane Oglesby. Along with our son, Mark, we have operated Jerry’s Marine in Walworth, Wisconsin for the past 34 years. Our goal is to provide quality salesservicestorage, and rentals for the Geneva Lakes area. Since our inception in 1984, we have been committed to setting the bar for complete customer satisfaction. In doing so, we align ourselves with only the finest people and boat manufacturers who embrace that same philosophy.

In 2002, after focusing on service, storage, and rentals, we began selling boats. We quickly realized that our business was growing rapidly, and we needed more sales and storage space. If we were to maintain our customers’ expectations, we needed to expand. In 2003, our dream became a reality when we built an ultra-modern, 6,000 sq. ft. showroom. We also added a complete Ship Store and an additional 2,000 sq. ft. to our service department. In 2001, Mark graduated from college and began working full time as a salesman.

In 2007, we encountered the same set back as in 2002: lack of space. Once again, our storage and service business was expanding, and we desperately needed a larger facility. Kunes’ Majestic Marine was offered to us in late 2007, and we decided it would be a perfect marriage. Partnering with Bill Grunow in the founding of Majestic Marine in 1981, we felt as if we were going back home. We began operating as Jerry’s Majestic Marine in February 11, 2008. We are very excited to now have the capabilities to fully exceed our customers’ expectations of their boating experience.

Today a highly skilled team of individuals who share our inspirations and passions is the heartbeat of our company. We work tirelessly to educate our team members to provide excellent customer service and to enrich team member’s life professionally and personally. We are often referred to as a “Spa for your boat” because we are able to assist you in every boating need.

Our showroom is located at 453 Madison Street in Walworth. The Service and Storage campus is at N1599 Maple Ridge Road in Lake Geneva. We also have a pier for rentals in Fontana at 352 Lake Street. Please stop in and meet the members of our incredible team!
